Quilt As You Go Table Runner using your Serger

Class is Oct. 4th at 10am - 1pm

Skill Level: Intermediate

What you will learn:

This super fast and fun table runner is sewn/quilted completely on a serger.  This is a great project to learn a new way to use your serger, it’s not just for finishing seams!  Each strip (consisting of the front, batting and backing) will be serged to the previous ones with your serger, thereby ‘quilting’ it as you serge each seam.  Then you can ‘bind’ it using a wide 3 thread or a wave stitch with decorative threads to finish the runner in no time at all.  You can make the runner with scraps, yardage, as a log cabin, anyway you want, that is the fun of creating.  You could even make it reversable if you want.  Due to time constraints, you will need to cut your fabrics and batting before class.  A basic design with dimensions will be included in the supply list.
