Pinwheel Serger Pillow
Skill Level: Intermediate
What you will learn:
This little pillow is a great way to learn a few different techniques with your serger. First, for your pillow front you will piece fabric strips using a 3 or 4 thread wide stitch and learn now to set you serger up for a ¼ inch seam. After cutting up these strip sections, you will sew them together into a pinwheel pattern. Then you will learn how to insert a zipper into the back of the pillow using a 3-thread narrow stitch and a piping foot. Finally, you will make your own piping and sew your pillow fronts and backs together with a piping accent. You will be taught 3 different ways to splice your piping together for the perfect look.
