Let’s Get Serging, or Taking the fear out of using your serger.  Is your serger just sitting around not being used or not being used to its full potential?  Are you terrified of all those moving parts, needles, and multiple threads?   Are you unsure of when to use what threads, stitches, feet, or needles?  Then this introductory course will help take the mystery out of your serger.  In this class we will go over the basics of your serger, from the loopers, to threading, tensions, the various stitches and feet, and the different types of needles and when to use them. Everything you will need to start using your serger with confidence.

This class is for sergers, if you have a combination serger/coverstitch machine you are welcome, just be aware that we will not be going over any coverstitch/chain stitch options in this class.  Also, if you purchased your serger from Berger’s, you are entitled to a private lesson on how to use your serger, please contact the store for details and to set up your lesson.
