Let's Get Serging! Taking the fear out of using your serger.

You just received the gift of a serger for Christmas, now what do you do? Sergers can be very intimidating with all those moving parts, needles, and multiple threads, so Let’s Get Serging, and take the fear out of using your serger. If you are new to serging, you are probably unsure of what threads and needles to use, what stitches are available and when to use them, as well as the different feet available for your machine. This introductory course will help take the mystery out of your serger by going over the basics of your serger, from the loopers, to threading, tensions, the various stitches and feet, and the different types of needles and when to use them. Everything you will need to start using your serger with confidence.
This class is for sergers, if you have a combination serger/coverstitch machine you are welcome to come, just be aware that we will not be going over any coverstitch/chain stitch options in this class.
