WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

In this class you will learn how to install an exposed zipper while creating a useful fully lined pouch that can be used to store just about anything you need, from makeup to phone chargers and cords. I love how they help me keep organized when I travel. I will have 2 versions to choose from (or make them both!)

YOUR SUPPLY LIST (WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING):

• Sewing machine in good working order (with accessories that came with the machine)*
• Sewing Machine needles, size 80 or 90 universal*
• Seam ripper, sharp*
• Sharp small scissors or thread snips*
• Sharp pins, glass headed are best*
• Good quality Thread to match/blend with fabrics*
• Seam gauge*
• Fabric marking pen/chalk to mark fabric*
• Outer fabric, a piece that is at least 12” by 17”*
• Interfacing, a piece that is at least 11” by 16”
• Lining fabric a piece that is at least 12” by 17”*
• Nylon Zipper at least 12 inches long, the longer the easier it is to put in version 2
• Zipper foot*
• Other sewing notions that you love to sew with (like glasses)
• Rotary cutters and rulers will be available at the store for your use.

**BE SURE TO WASH AND DRY YOUR FABRIC TO REMOVE SHRINKAGE.
