YOUR SUPPLY LIST (WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING):

• Machine in GOOD WORKING ORDER and all the accessories that came with the machine
• Jacket pattern-  Any SIMPLE princess seam jacket such as  McCalls M5668 or Butterick B5927 (view C or D with no pockets) or Vogue V9339, or any similar pattern from your stash
• Denim fabric – A light weight to medium weight works best. If it is too heavy the bulk (of the seam) will be difficult to sew through.  We have blue denim, dark indigo, black and pink (some with spandex) at Berger's.  Some is 65”+ wide.  Mention that it is for this class and receive a discount.*  
• Other fabric -Some light weight bias cut fabric (or light weight bias tape) for the Hong Kong finish of the hem and facings.  NO FULL LINING FABRIC WILL BE REQUIRED.  
• Closure of your choice-zipper, buttons, grommets (like my sample), snaps, or nothing
• Any other notion listed on your pattern
• New needles (Schmetz Denim 80 or 90)*
• Good quality thread to match or contrast your fabric*
• Bobbin*
• Sharp small scissors (straight and curved)*
• Pins*
• Seam gauge*
• Seam ripper*
• Fabric marking pen/chalk*
• Any other notions you like to use
• Optional Feet:  felling foot for your machine*, Edge Joining Foot*, Bi-level foot*
