Learn to Make Leggings



YOUR SUPPLY LIST (WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING):

  • Serger
  • 4-5 yards of a performance knit (check pattern recommendation)*
  • Matching cotton thread (2 spools)*
  • Matching wooly-nylon or Aero-flock (2 spools)*
  • Fabric scissors*
  • Pins*
  • Threading wire for serger (extra long)*
  • Tailor's chalk*
  • Serger needles or ballpoint serger needles*
  • Ruler (clear, 2 in wide grid)*
  • Basic leggings pattern (Extra pattern paper will be provided if needed for modification)I would recommend either the Kwik Sew K3636 in misses XS-XL or Style Arc's "Laura Knit Leggings" MLPK013L, which comes in a package with sizes 4-16 or 18-30.  
  • Scotch clear tape (¾”)
  • Double sided tape
  • Pattern weights (if you have them)
