Inserting Sleeves Made Simple
When you are just starting out on your sewing journey, sewing in sleeves can be a bit frustrating. But with a little knowledge, and experience, they will become much easier. In this class you will be doing a sample of 2 different techniques, this will give you alternatives to use when doing future projects. And remember, this class is about learning new techniques, not that you will have a mini bodice with sleeves.
Introduction to Sewing: Part 1
Kickoff your sewing adventures with this ‘quick start’ class. In this class you will learn how to thread your machine, the correct bobbin to use, the proper thread for your various projects (yes, there are many types of threads for different situations), and the appropriate needle type and size to use. You will also learn about the various presser feet available, some helpful sewing hints, and how to maintain your machine. Please read to the end, there is a required supply list.
Stitch Nation by Baby Lock
Stitch Nation is a private, membership-based garment sewing education program offered exclusively through authorized Baby Lock Retailers across the United States and Canada and hosted by Peggy Sagers. Best known as the host of the PBS series Fit 2 Stitch and for her Silhouette Patterns brand, Peggy specializes in helping garment sewers achieve professional results using her easy-to-follow methods.

Wanting to make quilts, but only have a regular size sewing machine? Here is a great class to learn how to quilt as you go, enabling you to make larger quilts with a domestic machine. In this class you will be making a small wall hanging, but once you learn this technique, you will be able to apply it to make even larger quilts without the need of a long arm. For this class you will need 6 different fabrics for the piecing, 1 for the sashing and binding, and one for the backing, as well as some batting. The class will consist of Three, 2-hour sessions. And remember, it is not about the wall hanging, it is about the techniques you will learn and adapt to other sewing situations. The more you sew, the more experience you will gain.
Cost: $ 85.00
