Classes and Clubs:
Here at Berger's we offer a wide variety of sewing classes. Don't see something you like, simply call and ask, we are more than happy to make a class around what YOU want to learn. Whether you are new to sewing or an old pro just looking for some fun and new crafting projects. Check back often to see what's New!

Upcoming Classes & Clubs:

The Basics of Embroidery

If you are just starting out in machine embroidery (in the hoop) this seminar will help you get started with confidence. From threads to stabilizers, matching designs to the correct fabric, proper hooping techniques, and what do you do when things go terribly wrong, and, of course, any other questions and issues you may want to discuss.

December Sewing & Quilting UFO Workshop

Want some quality time to work on your UFOs (Un-Finished Objects)? This workshop is designed to get you over that hump that is keeping you from finishing your projects! Whether it is just time, or help with a specific technique, we are here to help. This is not meant to help you design a new project from start to finish, but rather to coach and advise you through your challenge so that you have something to show for all your efforts!

Intro to Quilting: Sampler Quilt Top

Want to expand your sewing skills and learn how to cut, piece and assemble a quilt? This 12-hour, hands-on class will help you understand the tools and techniques used in basic quilt construction, and show you how to cut and piece six different quilt block units into your own sampler quilt top. Finishing the quilt top (basting, quilting, and binding) is a separate class that will be scheduled in January.
