Hope everyone is healthy and safe. With the recent mandate from the governor we are allowed to remain open at least for now. We have been taking every safety precaution available to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. We clean and disinfect after every customer. (nothing personal😸)
With that being said however, I can offer more options for you health safety. If you would prefer, I can meet you at the front of the store in the parking lot to bring in machines for service. You would not need to leave your vehicle. When we call to let you know your machine is ready we can get the credit card info at that time and bring the machine out to you if you let us know when you are again in the parking lot. If you would like to place an order for notions, fabric, machines, anything please call or email us. We are here to try and accommodate any way we can.
I have received numerous requests for instruction on making surgical masks. My fabulous instructor Gail Reinke has created a tutorial and has a link to a youtube video as well. The HEPA filtration vacuum bags work well for masks. You may use the bag itself or depending on the pattern used, place the filter media inside a mask. Quite a few filters can be made from just one of these bags. I have some bags in stock (although going quick) and have more arriving hopefully tomorrow. The supply of these bags is limited and the manufacturers of these are out (just spoke to my distributor).
I am also including a link from the ASG (American Sewing Guild) to donate sewn surgical masks www.weneedmasks.org
Once again I am here and if you need ANYTHING please let us know.
Everyday present a difficult challenge for all of us but we will prevail if we put our collective heads down and move forward! Improvise, adapt, overcome!
All the best
